WHAT TYPE OF VENDORS?

The Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair is open to all vendors that sell their own original work that has been handcrafted or created.  This includes photography, prints of original paintings, drawings, etc. as well as rework and redesign from upcycled and vintage materials like you find in jewelry and mixed media.  We will also allow a couple vendors that sell supplies for crafting.  Many of the shoppers who visit craft fairs are crafters themselves and therefore supplies, especially unusual supplies you do not find at local chain craft stores are very desirable.  Our main focus is to present an opportunity for DIY crafters/artists to offer their ooak original work to the public in a uniquely fun environment.  With the Indie Craft movement established in other large cities across the nation, our hope is to expand that to the Greater KC area and establish a presence in the DIY craft culture.  We want to include and embrace not just the stereotypical indie crafter but also the suburban crafter that is dipping their toes into this wonderful indie world!

If you have a question about your particular craft/supply before applying just send us an email!  We are happy to let you know before applying whether it would be acceptable as consideration for a spot in the fair.
Our goal is to build the fair annually and eventually create a Market/Fair that offers many venues for a range of buyers.
